Beryl worked for the State Department and travelled the world in her work. She was in an Alzheimer’s facility for many years at the end of her life, but continued to sing all the old songs (in perfect harmony) that her sisters sang with her at home and at church. She was very devoted to her church and they acted as guardians for her after her incapacity.
